So Germany played against Croatia last night. In a completely lackluster game, the team managed to lose only 2-1. I really can't think of anything positive to say. It was as the team had a collective burp . . . it seemed that every player on the team had a bad night, especially the inept left defender Jansson . . . . in addition, forward Bastian Schweinsteiger got red-carded (not quite deserved, though) and team captain Michael Ballack and goalie Jens Lehmann got yellow cards, because they couldn't keep their big mouths shut . . . big problems if either of them gets a second yellow, 'cause then they miss a game.
Na ja. Next game against 0-1-1 Austria. If the German team can't win there, it doesn't deserve to advance.
