First Steps!

Just when I was thinking Johanna was so satisfied with her crawling ability that she would be in no rush to walk, she surprised us again. Although she has only stood unsupported for a few seconds just a few times, this evening when we were all absorbed in other things we looked up to see her staggering a few steps alone into the middle of the living room, a little book clutched in her hands. I don't think she took it at all as seriously as I did, and I'm not even sure she'll be in a hurry to repeat the feat. But still--mark the day in the baby book!
