I suddenly have a chocolate craving. As far as I remember there are a couple of wrapped chocolate pieces in the refrigerator. While Lilia is playing with her cars and trucks, I quietly extract a piece.
"What you doing, Mama?"
"I'm checking what's in the fridge," I answer, not entirely untruthfully, trying to speak clearly around my mouthful of chocolate while at the same time hurriedly disposing of the wrapper. Small footfalls came my way, and I am subjected to Lilia's searching blue gaze.
"What you have in your hands, Mama?" I show that they're empty.
In a stern voice, "What you have in your MOUTH, Mama?!"
Sometimes you just can't win . . .

Hahaha,
All the blue M&Ms are gone. I put them in the "disposal" last night. :-)
