Advent, advent . . .

Okay, this actually isn't from Advent, but from the St. Martin's parade on 11 November. Johanna is in the "Bear" group in Kindergarten so the kids in her group made bear lanterns this year.

Johanna came down on Sunday with this interesting outfit that she and Lilia picked out together. You actually can't see the shocking pink tights too well from this angle . . .

Lilia and Johanna talked me into making Christmas cookies on Monday afternoon.  The kids enjoyed making the cookies, but even more, they enjoyed my digital kitchen scale. Everything got weighed, from the coconut shavings to Lilia's almost used-up school eraser.

Johanna works on cracking a walnut.

And the almost-final product.  These have a short half-life, in that they're already (after 2 days) more than half gone.

That's for sharing with all...

Very best to you all!
