I recently finished this book, which Dad lent me (he read it for his book club). One of the more provocative books I can remember reading . . . the author has lived a harrowing life (and she's only 38). Her narrative is a rather damning critique of fundamentalist Muslim society, and she has some unpopular but probably correct ideas about the failure of Muslim immigrants to integrate in Western countries. Anyone out there read it? What did you think?
